ABOUT US

This Web site has been developed through a partnership between the following organizations:

Oregon Association of Nurseries
The Oregon Association of Nurseries (OAN) is a non-profit, volunteer membership organization that represents more than 1,500 nursery stock producers, retailers, landscapers and allied companies in the nursery and greenhouse industry. The OAN is the main voice in Oregon for the producers, re-sellers, transporters, retailers and suppliers of the ornamental horticulture industry. The OAN is a corporation that represents and serves the interests of its members by fostering a favorable business and regulatory climate. The Corporation provides opportunities for education, research and business development to all its members including landscapers and allied businesses that supply goods and services to those who grow, handle and retail ornamental horticultural products in Oregon.

For more information about OAN, visit www.oan.org or call 1-800-342-6401.

Pacific Northwest Christmas Tree Association

Since 1955, the Pacific Northwest Christmas Tree Association (PNWCTA) has played a leading role in providing guidance to Christmas tree growers in the Northwest. The purpose of the organization is to bring together those involved in the Pacific Northwest Christmas tree industry for their mutual and public benefit. The Association sponsors educational and public relations efforts, which help develop public understanding of the industry; promotes, assists and engages in research of value to all members; promotes the production of high quality, marketable trees and works to develop and expand the market for trees grown in the Pacific Northwest.

For more information about PNWCTA, visit www.nwtrees.com or call 503-364-2942.

In addition to the involvement of OAN and PNWCTA, this site would not be possible without the cooperation and valubale information resources made available by the Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
